Freedom is the birthright of every individual, not a privilege granted by government. It is the God-given right to speak one's mind, follow one's conscience, pursue opportunity, and build a life of one's choosing, with equal respect for the rights of others.

Justice demands one standard under the law: protection for the innocent, due process for the accused, and accountability for the guilty—from crime on our streets to corruption and abuses of power in corporate boardrooms and the halls of government. No one is above the law
